ASP Civilian OC SPRAY COURSE

For the first time ever, private citizens have access to training from Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP)-a provider of law enforcement training and equipment worldwide. This OC spray (pepper spray) self protection course is open to everyone who is not medically or physically restricted from participating. This 3-hour course-which requires moderate physical activity will teach participants core principles to help prevent the student from becoming a victim. Upon completion, participants will receive an exclusive, nine piece OC Defender Kit, included with their class cost, complete with a live OC spray device. 

For the first time ever, private citizens have access to training from Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP) legendary providers of defensive tools and training to law enforcement officers and agencies around the world.

The new Be Your Own Defender (BYOD) course is the first and only training program of its kind. BYOD was created, refined and tested over several years, by ASP's international law enforcement training team. It teaches key principles of personal safety, focusing on the use of the ASP Defender® OC ("pepper spray") device. ASP developed this class to give civilians street-proven skills that can help them avoid becoming a victim.

Defender Instructor (DI): This 8-hour course - which requires moderate physical activity - is open to everyone who is not medically or physically restricted from participating. Once successfully completed, students will be certified Defender Instructors. As such, they will be permitted to conduct the 3-hour BYOD end-user class, and charge a fee for this service as an independent business.
